Breast Cancer and our Belief System
Breast cancer is one of night mare and scary issue to women as well
as to men. It is devastating for women to loss their breast and have
mastectomy. To women their breast is the most visible part of their
femininity. They feel if they lost their breast to breast cancer, they
are not whole women anymore.
Breast cancer has the same effect on men. They feel if the women had
breast cancer or mastectomy, she definitely lost her womanhood.
We know that these assumptions of women and men about breast cancer
are both false. However, these beliefs are so deeply rooted in our
subconscious mind that we have to unlearned them and replace them with
more positive beliefs.
How can we do it?
You know how important it is to watch what you say to yourself. Some
portion of your brain believes every word that you and others send to
it. And it takes about 30 days of creating new patterns for you to be
able to form a new belief or habit.
These new habits creations are called "affirmations." You must say
things over and over again to yourself in the form of a positive for
about thirty straight days, so that you create these new lifetime
beliefs and "new roads" in your brain. This is the foundation for
changing your beliefs about anything, including your beliefs about
breast cancer.
